The interaction between image and sound in a physical way is the primary concern of this interactive installation. The viewer becomes a listener by touching the artwork. For every drawing there is a hidden sound-world that waits to be discovered by tactile interaction, hence the work is considered unfinished without the contribution of the audience. The way the system has been designed allows the user to unfold the piece of music at his/her own pace, probably also discovering elements through sound that the eye overlooked.
How to Play: Place your palm on the paintings exploring the soundscapes.
Kardaş was lately performed in multiple concerts in Brazil.
Transduction has had multiple performances and was also finalist at the 35th International Electroacoustic Competition at Bourges. The version for networked computer quartet was performed at ICMC2008 in August 2008.
